A Leader, Not a Dispatcher.
JetSupport is a fast-growing European business aviation MRO operating under EASA Part-145, with stations at Amsterdam Schiphol, Paris Le Bourget, Munich Oberpfaffenhofen, and Nice. We maintain some of the most demanding business jet programmes in Europe, and we hold ourselves to the same standard.
At Le Bourget, the Maintenance Control Center is where everything comes together: aircraft status, manpower, stores, customer commitments, and the clock. We are looking for the person who runs it, not as a dispatcher pushing tasks around, but as a leader who sets the tempo of the whole station.
This is the operational nerve centre of LFPB. If you think in priorities, stay sharp under time pressure, and want a team that looks to you for direction, read on.
We don’t need someone to move work around. We need someone who owns the flow, every aircraft, every shift, every day.
The Role
As MCC Supervisor at LFPB, you lead the Maintenance Control Center and act as the central coordination hub between customers, technicians, stores, Duty Managers, and operational leadership. You translate operational priorities into daily action and keep control of manpower, aircraft status, resource allocation, and customer commitments.
You report to the Manager Operations LFPB on operational and Part-145 matters, and coordinate as a functional peer with the MCC Supervisor in Amsterdam to keep JetSupport Europe aligned. You have direct line authority over the (junior) Maintenance Controllers at Le Bourget.
This is a role for someone who is comfortable on the maintenance floor, speaks the language of technicians and managers alike, and doesn’t wait to be asked before acting.
What You’ll Do
Operational Control:
- Lead the daily operation of the MCC LFPB; keep real-time oversight of aircraft status, maintenance progress, and operational risks.
- Ensure correct prioritisation of scheduled maintenance, AOG events, and customer requests.
- Maintain oversight of manpower allocation and resource utilisation across active work packages, and coordinate shift handovers for full operational continuity.
- Align priorities, improvements, and initiatives with the MCC Supervisor in Amsterdam for JetSupport Europe-level coherence.
- Facilitate and drive continuous improvement of the MCC’s processes and procedures.
Planning & Resource Management:
- Develop and maintain short- and medium-term maintenance planning for LFPB.
- Build and maintain the MCC roster to guarantee sufficient shift coverage at all times.
- Coordinate manpower allocation with Duty Managers and ensure optimal use of available maintenance resources.
- Identify capacity bottlenecks proactively and escalate before they become problems.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead, develop, and coach the (junior) Maintenance Controllers at LFPB.
- Set clear working methods, escalation procedures, and performance standards within the MCC.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and operational discipline across the team.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews (PPR) for your direct reports in coordination with Human Capital.
Customer & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for internal stakeholders on planning and maintenance status.
- Ensure timely, accurate communication of disruptions and recovery plans to everyone affected.
- Support customer communication through Operations Management and Sales, and maintain strong relationships with operational partners and suppliers.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all MCC activities comply with EASA Part-145, the MOE, SMS requirements, and applicable quality standards.
- Support occurrence reporting (JetReports) and safety investigations where required.
- Stop or suspend operational activities when an immediate safety concern arises, and escalate to Manager Operations LFPB and Quality.
- Promote a proactive Just Culture where operational decisions never compromise safety or compliance.
What You Bring
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in aerospace engineering, aviation management, or a related field — or equivalent competency proven through experience.
- Minimum 5 years of aviation maintenance experience in an EASA Part-145 environment.
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning, production control, or MCC operations.
- Fluent in English and French, written and spoken, both are mandatory given the LFPB operating environment and customer base.
- A practical, floor-level mindset: you turn requirements into action, not paperwork.
- Proven ability to direct, motivate, and develop a small team under operational pressure.
Preferred:
- EASA Part-66 AML (Category B1 or B2).
- Experience in business aviation or with multi-site maintenance operations.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Working knowledge of maintenance management and planning software (AFAS, BlueMRO, or equivalent).
What We Offer
- A role at the operational heart of one of Europe’s most dynamic business aviation MROs, real scope, real impact.
- Direct access to senior management and a short decision-making line.
- A genuinely international environment: Dutch, French and English are all spoken in the same building.
- Clear growth paths: toward Manager Operations LFPB, Quality / Compliance, or Duty Manager.
- A competitive salary package; details discussed during the interview process.
- A station at Paris Le Bourget, the home of European business aviation.
