Run Le Bourget. Own the Outcome.
JetSupport is a fast-growing European business aviation MRO operating under EASA Part-145, with stations at Amsterdam Schiphol, Paris Le Bourget, Munich Oberpfaffenhofen, and Nice. We maintain some of the most demanding business jet programmes in Europe, and we hold ourselves to the same standard.
At Le Bourget, the Manager Operations is the senior operational authority on site — the person who runs the station day to day and answers for its performance. You hold direct line authority over the MRO, MCC, and Stores teams, and you are the primary interface between the maintenance floor and JetSupport management.
This is production management, people leadership, and customer ownership in one seat. If you have the technical credibility to be taken seriously on the floor and the leadership maturity to manage competing priorities under pressure, read on.
You don't manage the station from a distance. You own its safety, its delivery, and its numbers — every day.
The Role
As Manager Operations at LFPB, you oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department at Paris Le Bourget, ensuring every activity is conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with EASA Part-145 (and FAA, TCCA, and CAA-UK where applicable), the JetSupport MOE, and customer contractual commitments.
You report to the Maintenance Manager on Part-145 MRO matters and to the General Manager France on commercial and station-level matters. You hold direct line authority over the MRO, MCC, and Stores departments at LFPB, and you carry the station's performance targets: on-time delivery, productivity, quality, and budget.
This is a role for a senior operational leader — technically credible, commercially aware, and comfortable making the call when priorities compete in a dynamic business aviation environment.
What You’ll Do
Run the Station:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the LFPB maintenance department: scheduling, planning, and coordinating all maintenance and aircraft-handling activities.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term plans to hit departmental goals and station performance targets, using the 4M strategy.
- Proactively manage scheduling across all teams to protect hangar capacity, coverage, and sustainment in line with SLAs.
- Decide on task priorities and reallocate resources when AOG events or ad-hoc requests arise.
- Act as the primary escalation point for all operational disruptions and resource bottlenecks at LFPB.
Performance & Budget:
- Manage station OPEX against the yearly plan and control material and equipment expenditure within the approved budget.
- Own the station's performance numbers: on-time delivery, labour productivity, badged hours, quality escapes, and absenteeism.
- Monitor key operational KPIs, act on deviations from target, and drive corrective action.
- Report station performance to the Maintenance Manager and General Manager France.
Quality, Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet the required quality standards and comply fully with EASA Part-145 (and FAA, TCCA, and CAA-UK where applicable) and the JetSupport MOE.
- Guarantee on-time delivery of aircraft with a complete and correct Certificate of Release to Service (CRS).
- Maintain the work floor to Part-145 standards; enforce housekeeping and FOD-prevention discipline.
- Halt non-compliant or unsafe work, ensure proper occurrence reporting (JetReports / SMS), and promote a Just Culture, safety-first environment.
- Support internal and external audits (EASA, customer, corporate) and track corrective and preventive actions to closure.
Lead & Develop the Teams:
- Lead, empower, and develop the LFPB station teams — technicians, Stores, and the MCC — and create the conditions for them to perform and grow.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews (PPR) for direct reports and coordinate initial and recurrent training with HCM, the Maintenance Manager, and the CM&S Manager.
- Execute the JetSupport absenteeism policy and conduct documented absenteeism conversations in line with company policy and French law (Code du Travail).
- Initiate PPR and disciplinary procedures where needed, within HR policy and applicable labour law.
Customer & Continuous Improvement:
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for customers and third parties at LFPB; liaise directly with operators and owners to meet their requirements within agreed timeframes.
- Communicate proactively on work scope, progress, findings, and deviations, escalating commercially significant risks to the General Manager France.
- Identify and resolve operational problems and bottlenecks through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement: spot opportunities and implement changes that raise efficiency, productivity, and quality.
What You Bring
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, aviation management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with a proven leadership track record.
- French and English at C1 level or higher — both are mandatory in the LFPB operating environment.
- The right to live and work in the EU, and a valid category B driving licence.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations across EASA, FAA, TCCA, and CAA-UK.
- Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment with tight deadlines, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An entrepreneurial, can-do mindset — someone who wants to make a difference in the industry.
Preferred:
- EASA Part-66 AML.
- Experience in business aviation.
- Formal Human Factors, Part-145, audit, and safety-management training.
What We Offer

- A real mandate — you set priorities, manage the budget, and represent JetSupport to customers at the station.
- Direct access to senior management: you report to the Maintenance Manager and the General Manager France.
- A genuinely international environment: Dutch, French, German, and English are all spoken in the same building.
- Clear growth paths: toward Maintenance Manager, General Manager France, or Compliance Monitoring & Safety Manager.
- A competitive salary package; details discussed during the interview process.
- A station at Paris Le Bourget, the home of European business aviation.
