JetSupport is a fast-growing European business aviation MRO operating under EASA Part-145, with stations at Amsterdam Schiphol, Paris Le Bourget, Munich Oberpfaffenhofen, and Nice. At Le Bourget, our stores department is the backbone of the hangar: every part, component, and consumable that goes into an aircraft passes through it. As Junior Stores Employee, you help keep that flow running — receiving deliveries, booking and issuing parts, keeping stock accurate, and learning the trade from the people who do it every day.
This is a genuine entry-level role and a real start in aviation. You don’t need experience in the industry — you need to be reliable, precise, and eager to learn. We’ll train you and grow you toward the fully authorised Stores Employee role.
The Role
As Junior Stores Employee, you support the day-to-day operations of the JetSupport stores department under the direct supervision of the Stores Supervisor. You handle the physical receipt, storage, issuing, and administration of aircraft parts, components, materials, consumables, and tooling.
One boundary is important and clear: the Part-145 incoming goods inspection is performed exclusively by the authorised Stores Employee. You assist with the physical receipt and administrative booking of goods only, under supervision, and only after inspection has been completed and accepted. Building toward that inspector authorisation yourself is the core of your development path.
You work closely with the Stores Employee, the MCC, and the maintenance floor. It is hands-on, physical work in a regulated environment where accuracy and discipline matter more than speed alone.
What You’ll Do
Goods Receipt Support:
- Receive incoming shipments: sign for deliveries, check the outer packaging for visible transport damage, and report any damage or discrepancy to the Stores Employee or Stores Supervisor straight away.
- Present all received goods to the authorised Stores Employee for the Part-145 incoming goods inspection — you assist with physical receipt only and do not perform or sign off inspections yourself.
- Once inspection is completed and accepted, book received items into BlueMRO under supervision and place them in the correct bin location.
Stores Administration & Stock:
- Issue parts and materials to maintenance work orders in BlueMRO on authorised request, under the direction of the Stores Employee or Supervisor, checking that part number, quantity, and condition match the work order.
- Process component returns from the maintenance floor under supervision, presenting them to the Stores Employee for condition assessment before anything is relocated or updated in the system.
- Help with periodic stock checks, cycle counts, and the annual inventory count.
- Keep accurate records of component movements (receipts, issues, returns) in BlueMRO, and report any difference between physical stock and the system to the Supervisor.
Housekeeping, FOD Prevention & Physical Work:
- Keep the stores environment to the required housekeeping, FOD-prevention, and security standards at all times.
- Make sure serviceable, unserviceable, quarantine, and scrap items are correctly labelled and segregated in their designated areas.
- Move parts, components, and materials within stores and between stores and the maintenance floor.
- Help handle and store hazardous materials under direct supervision, in line with MSDS requirements and station safety rules.
Learn & Grow:
- Shadow the Stores Employee during incoming goods inspections — as an observer — to build familiarity with Part-145 procedures, release documentation, and component identity checks.
- Complete all mandatory training modules in the JetSupport competency framework.
- Work through the structured sign-off programme toward full Stores Employee status, including Incoming Goods Inspector authorisation.
Safety, Compliance & Quality:
- Work in line with the JetSupport MOE, SCMS, applicable Part-145 procedures, and station safety rules at all times.
- Raise JetReports for near-misses, FOD events, or safety concerns in stores or during goods receipt.
- Support internal and external audits by giving access to stores areas and documentation on request.
- Contribute to improving stores processes, data accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
What You Bring
Essential:
- MBO-level (vocational) education in logistics, aviation, technical, or a related field — or a motivated candidate without formal qualifications but with a clear aptitude for a regulated, procedure-driven environment.
- French at a working level (B2 or higher) and English at B1 or higher — the stores floor and suppliers operate in French; systems and documentation are in English.
- Reliable, punctual, and disciplined about following procedure — stores in a Part-145 environment run on discipline, not improvisation.
- Physically fit for manual handling, a warehouse environment, and working at height where required.
- Eager to learn, with the motivation to develop toward the Stores Employee role and build regulatory knowledge step by step.
- A team player who works well with the Stores Employee, the MCC, and the maintenance floor in a fast-paced, sometimes pressured environment.
- Basic computer literacy, able to work in BlueMRO with instruction and supervision.
A plus:
- No prior aviation experience is required — this is a genuine entry-level position.
- Any experience in warehousing, logistics, a retail stockroom, or a technical environment is an advantage.
- Affinity with aviation or a technical working environment.
- A forklift / reach-truck licence (or willingness to obtain one on appointment).
A valid driving licence and initial Human Factors, MOE/procedures, and safety training are required within six months of joining — we help you obtain them.
