Amsterdam Senior Maintenance Controller

Apply now

The Heart of Our Operation.

‍

Our Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) is the heart of our operation. As Senior Maintenance Controller you plan and coordinate maintenance across our stations, mainly Schiphol, with support to Munich Oberpfaffenhofen and Paris Le Bourget.

You bring together people, aircraft, materials and methods so that work is done on time and correctly. You are the go-to person in the MCC team for complex situations. You report to the MCC Supervisor EHAM.

‍

What You’ll Do

‍

  • Plan and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, matching manpower, hangar capacity, tooling and parts to every work package.
  • Prepare and manage work packages in BlueMRO, and monitor progress against the planning.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers and operators on maintenance status, delays and additional findings.
  • Take the lead in AOG situations: arrange parts, people and priorities to get aircraft back in service.
  • Escalate decisions involving airworthiness, AOG impact or contractual scope changes to the MCC Supervisor.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations, Stores, Engineering, Quality and Finance to keep planning, materials and invoicing aligned.
  • Coach and support Junior Maintenance Controllers and Maintenance Controllers, and set the standard for accuracy within the team.
  • Identify recurring planning bottlenecks and propose process improvements.

‍

What You Bring

‍

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO), preferably in aviation or aircraft maintenance.
  • Several years of experience in maintenance control, maintenance planning or work preparation in a Part-145 or CAMO environment.
  • Solid knowledge of EASA Part-145 processes and aircraft maintenance documentation.
  • Experience with MRO software; BlueMRO is an advantage.
  • Dutch and English at C1 level; French and/or German is an advantage.
  • Calm, decisive and structured under pressure, especially in AOG situations.
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster: two weeks day shift and one week evening shift.
  • Ability to obtain a Schiphol pass, including VGB (Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar) background screening.

‍

What We Offer

‍

  • A key role in an international MRO organisation with multiple stations.
  • Employment conditions in line with the Metalektro collective labour agreement (CAO).
  • A 7-month contract, with the prospect of a permanent position.
  • A clear career path within our MCC, towards MCC Supervisor.
  • A dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
