Amsterdam Onsite IT / ICT Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Onsite IT / ICT Engineer who combines technical expertise with a strong sense of ownership. In this role, you will be the key person for both IT infrastructure management and information security (Part-IS compliance) within JetSupport. You will operate across our three stations, ensuring reliable IT operations while safeguarding our systems and data in line with aviation regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Information Security (Part-IS):
    1. Act as the Information Security Manager for Part-IS compliance.
    2. Take ownership of the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Part-IS requirements. 
    3. Develop, implement, and monitor information security policies and procedures. 
    4. Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are in place. 
    5. Act as the main point of contact for audits and regulatory bodies regarding information security. 
  2. Onsite IT / ICT Operations:
    1. Manage and maintain the IT/ICT infrastructure across all JetSupport stations. 
    2. Ensure high availability and performance of networks, systems, and hardware.
    3. Provide hands-on support to end users and resolve technical issues. 
    4. Monitor systems health and proactively address potential issues. 
  3. Access & Identity Management
    1. Collaborate with our external IT partner to manage user access and permissions.
    2. Ensure proper access control within the software landscape in line with security policies. 
    3. Maintain and periodically ensure compliance with internal and external standards. 

Who are you

  • Proven experience in a similar IT/ICT engineering or system administration role
  • Experience with or strong interest in information security (Part-IS can be learned on the job)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, NinjaOne, and Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 is a strong advantage
  • Hands-on knowledge of:
    • Network infrastructure
    • Windows environments and modern workplace technologiesIT security principles (access control, risk management, etc..
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
  • Fluent in English (Dutch, German and/or French is a plus)
