Amsterdam Junior Stores Employee

Apply now

The Right Part, Every Time.

‍

No aircraft leaves our hangar without the right parts. As Junior Stores Employee you make sure aircraft parts, consumables and tools are received, stored and issued correctly and on time.

You learn the job from the ground up, and when you are trained to perform incoming goods inspections independently, you progress to Stores Employee.

‍

What You’ll Do

‍

  • Receive incoming shipments and check them against orders and delivery documents.
  • Store parts, consumables and materials correctly, taking into account storage conditions and shelf life.
  • Prepare and issue parts and materials to technicians for maintenance work.
  • Register all goods movements accurately in our MRO system.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, such as repairs, returns and exchange units.
  • Keep the stores clean, organised and safe.

‍

What You Bring

‍

  • Secondary vocational education (MBO) in logistics is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Accuracy and a sense of responsibility: in aviation, the right part matters.
  • English at B2 level or higher.
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster: two weeks day shift and one week evening shift.
  • Ability to obtain a Schiphol pass, including VGB (Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar) background screening.
  • Motivation to learn: we provide all necessary training, including forklift and dangerous goods.

‍

What We Offer

‍

  • A start in aviation with full on-the-job training.
  • A clear growth path to Stores Employee.
  • Employment conditions in line with the Metalektro collective labour agreement (CAO).
  • A 7-month contract, with the prospect of a permanent position.
  • A hands-on team at Schiphol, surrounded by business jets.
